Rafah, Egypt, Jan 09, 2009.In observance with Egyptian-Israeli security agreements, the Rafah border crossing remains closed except for humanitarian goods, no one is allowed to cross. Private and NGO's humanitarian aid arrive to the crossing amid general confusion and disorganization. On the 13th day of the Israeli operation in Gaza, one and a half million people are still deprived of electricity and basic supplies, as well as being unable to flee from the densely populated combat zone.
