Baghdad, Iraq, April 5, 2003.Rahad Salman, 23, in the Al Kindi hospital emergency ward cries and prays for the life of his son Mustapha Odei, 4, eviscerated and criticaly injured by shrapnel in the head, at Ubeidi by a US bomb. According to the doctors in attendance Mustapha has no chance to survive. More than 70 US bombardment victims were admitted in less than 2 hours after a B52 carpet bombing on the Northern outskirts, about a fifth of these were military personel.
