Rafah, Gaza Strip, Jan 12 2009.A small 'smugglers' market in the center of Rafah, all commodities not produced locally have to come through tunnels or contraband. On the 16th day of the Israeli operation in Gaza, one and a half million people are still deprived of electricity and basic supplies, as well as being unable to flee from the densely populated combat zone.
