Sderot, Israel Jan 4, 2009.Israeli civilians in Sderot have just a few seconds to take refuge into a concrete bomb shelter when a Palestinian rocket launch has been detected. Nine days into the Israeli military operation, more than 40 rockets have been fired today from Gaza to the south of Israel, usually causing only materail damage but terrifying the population.
