An Israeli tank assault on this village left 10 people dead and many more wounded; dozens of homes are destroyed, many burned by white phosphorus, active patches of which can still be found in many area inside the village 36 hours after the attack..Hundreds of shocked inhabitants collect what they can from their destroyed houses and are fleeing away to safer areas.
