Oure Cassooni camp, Chad, Dec. 11, 2004..The food aid provided by the WFP to the thousands Darfur refugees in Oure Cassoni camp has crossed more than 2500 km of Sahara desert from the Libyan port of Benghazi; the weekly convoy, 40 trucks strong, takes more than 20 days to reach this isolated region.
