Ahmadabad, India, March 2002.The communal riots between Hindus and Muslems have caused major damages in many areas of this 5.5 million inhabitants city. Thousands of homes, shops, cars, scooters, mainly belonging to the already poorer Muslem minority were torched, resulting in severe economic hardship for hundred of thousands of people.
