Sderot, Israel Jan 1, 2009.A Kassam rocket has hit a highway less than a kilometer from the city, fortunately, no one was hurt. More than 7000 Palestinian rockets have hit the town in the last few years. Israeli civilians in Sderot have just a few seconds to take refuge into a concrete bomb shelter when a Palestinian rocket launch has been detected.
