Rafah, Gaza Strip, 21 Nov 2009.It is estimated that more than 800 tunnels run under the 14km long Gaza/Egypt border; these tunnels are the only lifeline for a million and a half people since the beginning of the Israeli blockade in 2006. Sheeps and cattle are hurried under the border in preparation for the Eid al Atta celebration next week.
