
Huambo, Angola, May 2006.Just 4 years after the end of a 25 year long civil war, Angola is starting to emerge again, yet a lot remains to be done: entire regions are still cut-off from the ouside world because of landmines and broken bridges, over 80% of the population lives below the poverty threshold in one of the potentially richest country in Africa. Natural ressources include oil, diamonds, gold and...water!.Malaria, tuberculosis, HIV/Aids are endemic, cholera and meningitis frequent.
